hi guys. ok i think i'm cursed man! i just wrote like a nice two page thingy for this and it just got deleted! just like that!. sigh. the internet, greatest frustration or greatest invention.
anyway, all i meant to say is that i hope all of you on holiday right now are having a good time as all things come to an end. it had more zest in my previous post.

hi guys :) sorry for taking so long to update! recently went back to my 'birth home(?)' haha (Perth) for awhile to visit some friends n meet some of my parent's friends. It was pretty fun cuz my whole fmaily went. yay! hee. anyway, i'm back now n last sunday i did a gig at Singapore Poly for an organization called 'Club Rainbow'. It was great. for those of you who know these songs, i sang 'I'm Sorry' and 'Why' again. Somehow, when i was there i just felt that singing songs wasn't really enough. we should all try to give back to people who are less fortunate than us. I'm gonna try to do my part too. :) Anyway, don't know how much i can tell you guys. but keep tuning into channel 5! hee. oh oh oh! and i have a show at MGS this friday too. i heard it's sold out! thank you everyone for your support! I'm still writing my songs. but no promise of an album yet. My bestest guy friend, Jeremy, and I are still under discussion on forming a new band. so if you guys have any input on things you would like to hear, from what kind of music, to the content of the music, just drop me an e-mail. (i read them i cross my heart!!) Yep. it's all really exciting and i'm just so glad i have all of you to cheer me up when i'm feeling down. (you all do really cheer me up. from the testimonials in friendster to the fan mail i read over and over again) yep. apart from the MGS gig i'll also be doing two songs at singapore expo for the DANCEWORKS finals. sooo exciting! i love dancing n watching people dance! so this is gonna be a real treat for me!. hee. that'll be on the 16th of April. THIS SATURDAY!!! soooon!!! hee. i'm so sorry for the late notice. but i hope to see you guys there!!! another new song i've been practicing all week for you guys! so i hope you guys will be down to hear it! anyway, it's late. gonna try to get some sleep.

hey guys! GIG UPDATES!
i will be doing a show at westmall next saturday (12th) in conjuntion with DanceWorks2005 which is (i almost joined when i was 15. hahaha) a dance competition supporting anti-drug abuse and i also have another gig on the 13th. but i'm not sure where it's gonna be held. will try n keep you guys informed. and next next saturday (19th) there will be a show called "HIGH ON LIFE" on channel 5 at 8pm which i will also part in and is also supporting anti-drug abuse.
so lets join our hearts to support a life worth living - drug free.

hmmm, how've you all been doin aye? heh. thanks for taggin. just a little update, my friendster accnt is currently full so i've created a new one which you guys can add me at using my new e-mail account phengyi@yahoo.com (pheng yi's my chinese name. hee) yep. anyway, there isn't going to be a solo album for me for some time. but i do hear that all of the idol finalists will be in the new idol show. i'm not sure tho. i myself haven't gotten any word. we'll see how it works out yea? oh by the way, you can send your questions (should you have any) to my new e-mail account (above) and i'll post the answers here weekly! so keep 'em questions coming in. if i recieve less than ten in a week i'll just post those questions with the batch the week after. personal questions i'll personally mail back to you. but do specify if you want it sent just back to you or you dont mind me posting it on my blog. hope this helps with the questions you guys sometimes tag or message me :) take care n God bless!

hello everyone. oh my goodness it's been too long since i've been here. but hey, i'm slightly more free now so i thought i owe you guys a little love letter from me to you. hahaha i just wanna thank all of you for your continuous support... i really appreciate all of you. i have a new song floating around the net called 'i'm sorry' which i co-wrote with two of my really good friends :) yep anyway, updates! i'll be appearing possibly for an anti-drug show which i think will be shown in early Feb. so try to support the good cause ya! i've been pretty busy recently. catching up with old friends which has been amazing and working on my chinese (no more 'ang mo' chinese for me!!!) and i hope to take up some dance courses soon :) yep. and trying to polish my skills at the instruments that i can still play and i've been trying to write some new stuff. but inspiration is definately lacking on my part. anyway, for those of you who want to tell me your story (maybe i can write about it...if you don't mind that is) or just drop me a note.(daphneykhoo@yahoo.com.sg) i'll read them i promise but i might not reply all the time. but rest assured i AM reading them. hope that life hasn't been too cruel on all of you. take care and God bless. keep the music alive. -daphne
