hi everyone.
I hope that the beginning of the year has been a good one for all of you.
thanks again for those who came down to taka, despite the rain, and watched me perform.
for those who couldn't make it,
there's always next time. :)
so, I couldn't help but notice the millions of 'singapore idol' ads that are suddenly popping up again and I just wanna say to those of you who are thinking about it, think carefully, and if you decide to do it, don't turn back. We only have once chance to live, and it's not like you've got anything to lose if you don't win. but do your best, be confident about who you are (because you know, confidence is oh so sexy *grin*).
and very importantly: love your loved ones, and know that you are loved.
okay enough of my 'ah-ma', trying-to-act-smart-and-give-advice-ness :)
My blessings to those who are going for the plunge. be brave!
On another note, I just want to apologize for having previously promised that my EP/ album would be released in January- Feb 2006. A few complications have risen but I will not give up!
To be honest with all of you, my parent's are skeptical about recording the album in fear that it won't sell. I'm no taufik or sylvester, but heck I love music and I love makin it. Also I don't wanna rush this album just so I can get it out as soon as possible. I really wanna do a good job and really give you guys a personification of music in me.
I hope that even as all these other competitions take up more air time on television (like superstar, superhost, star idol ---- I have nothing against these competitions or the competitors, I'm just stating for reference) that you will continue to support me. I can't thank you enough for your love thus far and I hope you see me through the rest of the time I'm doing what I'm doing,
and loving it.

i hope you all had a good year this 2005 and that your 2006 will be an even better year.
right now, i've been busy with dancing...and i love it! :)
my next performance will be on the 7th at Dance Explosion!
not too sure bout the details but will try to post them up as soon as i know.
there'll be an event [X-capade!] at Ngee Ann City (Takashimaya) on the 8th,
set up by my school, and i'll be dancing on both days with the girls from New Revolving Age
so do try to come down!
if i don't write soon enough, have a great year and thanks for all your support.

ok, a few friends from school have agreed to help me out with this saturday's performance. and it's gonna be slightly different from most of my gigs.
i don't wanna spoil the surprise by telling you what is gonna happen on saturday, you just have to come down n check it out youselves! The details are below. Hope to see you guys there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Event: Lime Flea Market
Place: *scape (the old skate park next to Youth Park; behind Cineleisure)
Time: i'm on at 7pm (but the whole thing goes on for pretty much the whole day so shop your heart out!)

If you feel like partying after that, join us at the afterparty, 9pm till late. Tickets for the afterparty are $15 and the age requirement is 18 and above. Get your tickets, bring your friends, get them to bring their friends.

sorry i've been so quiet lately, gig wise. i've started filming the Kid's Central show "Bring Your Toothbrush" whiche will premiere on the 11th of Dec 2005 so watch out for it! schools starting again soon for me :( while i'm sure alot of you have just begun your holidays! haha. oh well, enjoy what you can!! for now, all i can update you on so far are a few upcoming events:
9th Nov- appearance at Esprit's 20th anniversary, @ Far East Square /7pm till late
19th Nov- 'Shooting Star' Showcase @ club mo mo /i'm not sure of the timing...sorry!
22nd Nov- guest star on 'Extreme Japan' on Channel 5 /8pm
24th Nov- GIG @ Hard Rock Cafe /i'll be there from 8-9pm
29th Nov- guest star on 'Extreme Japan' on Channel 5 /8pm
3rd Dec- GIG @ lime's flea market /i'm not sure for the timing of this either.

thanks for your continual support of "I'm Sorry"!! been hearing it being requested on p10. really glad you like it. hope that you will support my new single "Paper" from the shooting stars album too ya! *grin* This week I will start filming for the kid's show that will debut on kid's central in december, so exciting!!! hee. stilllll working on the EP which I will try to keep you guys updated on. Special thanks to those who managed to make it down to the autographing session at jurong 8 last week. had alot of fun!! for those who couldn't make it, don't worry! there's a showcase coming up in november i'm told. i think it's on the 12th so try to be there!!
To everyone struggling with exams, school, work or simply going through a rough period,

what's up? hee. i'm glad that (from what i've heard so far) you guys enjoyed my ep on shooting sars and like the song! the soundtrack is out now -HMV, gramaphone etc...- so go out n get it! Hi everyone :) thanks so much to everyone who's been supportive of 'I'm Sorry' and Shooting Stars. This year's going by so fast! September is creeping around the corner and for those of you in school, we all know that exams are coming. haha yea. and i'm no exception. Not that i want any (ok, maybe i lie a little) haha... i suppose that exams can be good for you. Force you to catch up with everyone else (everyone else being those who pay attention in class or who are... generally smart) Weeks are seemingly shorter, or sometimes painfully long. But God leads me on. May your motivations lead you all to do great things. To the coming month of September. cheers.
